Blood products collected from your pet are used to help treat patients hospitalized in Small Animal Clinic. Approximately 500 transfusions are given each year. This would be impossible without the support of blood donors. One blood donation can help up to four different patients. They are looking for large, friendly, healthy dogs between the ages of one to seven years, weighing more than 25kg.(55Ibs) Aside from the satisfaction that your dog has made an important donation to the health and welfare of other animals, there are many other benefits for you and your dog, such as free bloodwork, ect.
